So here’s the part where I’m supposed to tell you all a little bit about myself. I’m not going to natter about myself too much, but I suppose I should start with my name.
Hi there, I’m Robyn. I’m twenty four years old, I live with my boyfriend and my dutch dwarf rabbit, Ponyo. I currently work within internal operations of an internet investment management platform, primarily dealing with transfers in of money. I love my job, my house, my boyfriend and my little rabbit – but something has been missing for several months.
For my current followers they will have noticed that I have completely wiped all of my original posts that I was working on when I first started this blog, however I felt this was necessary in order to begin with a clean slate.
I started this blog about a year ago as part of an assignment that was given to me by one of my lecturers on the course I was studying. I then used it to discuss different topics around my journey of recovery from anxiety. Looking back on it all, I realised I wasn’t happy with the way I was dealing with the blog and I really wanted to harness all that I had learned on the course and also what I have learned at home, in my spare time.
So that brings me to today, I have decided on a few ideas as to how I would like my blog to grow, and to make it engaging for any one who wishes to look.
I will be starting a mini-series from the 28th November. Every Monday I will be releasing a chapter from a collection of short stories that I have wanted to expand from a short theatre script that I developed for a class at the start of this year. I won’t go into details as to what it is about, but I am very excited to share it with you all, and I hope you enjoy it.
Alongside that I will be developing my digital skills by posting a quote of the day with an illustration of neo-calligraphy that I have been practising, using my iPad Air 2 and my Adonis Jot Script 2 with the Procreate App. I will also provide a small comment as to why I have chosen that quote of the day.
I will be coming up with some new ideas along the way (bear with me, I do work Monday-Friday) but I am excited for this change and giving myself the opportunity to start all this up again.
Thank you, in advance, for spending the time to look over my ramblings and I hope you all have a lovely day!
